2002 Viper GTS Book

Volume 11 Book 2

The Viper Registry Books is broken down into a series of Volumes and Books. The approach was developed to allow the individual who wants to know more
about their own Viper to just purchase the book they needed without having to purchase the entire series of the Viper Books.

The 2002 Viper GTS was produced in the following colors.

Graphite Metallic Clear Coat – 217
Viper GTS Blue – 1
Viper Race Yellow Clear Coat – 156
Viper Red Clear Coat – 536, 360 of which are Final Editions
Total 2002 Viper GTS Production 910.

The Final Edition GTS, which debuted at the 2002 Chicago Auto Show, was featured as the last coupe version of the Viper made.
A total of 360 were produced. The Final Edition GTS features Red with Dual Stone White-Striped paint scheme (This paint scheme was
used on the GTS-R/T race car that won the 2000 24-hour at Daytona, multiple American Le Mans Series manufacturer championships),
Interior features include Red-Stitched Black leather steering wheel and Shift Knob, and a sequentially numbered Dash Plaque (1-360).
This is powered by an 8.0-liter engine and 6-speed manual transmission. The 2002 Final Edition is in Volume 22 Book 3.

The Production Year is the Volume and the Books contained within those volumes are small collections within the Production Year
(i.e., Color, Special Edition, RT/10, GTS, SRT, ACR, GTC, etc.).

Disclaimer: The Viper Registry Books are in no way affiliated with Chrysler, Dodge, Viper, SRT or any other company involved in the
production of the Viper. It is also important to know that each VIN in these books has been verified as real and are associated with a
built Viper. Early in the Viper History unverified documents were circulated identifying the production of the Viper. Through my 9
years of research, I have found several differences between those documents and what I have found.

There is a Viper with the VIN ending HV731948 (31,948) which was to announce the final production count for the Viper throughout the
years (1992-2017), I currently have in my database 31,956 verified VIN’s, as of the writing of these books. If you find a Viper that is
not contained in these books, please send the VIN to viperjeff@vipertruckregistry.com.

Also, apart from the Special Editions, Vipers were NOT numbered, the Registry did the best it could with the data available at the time
of this printing to provide some sense of the build sequence.

These books are designed to help identify Vipers and the equipment that came on each Viper. Because the manufacturer was not involved
in these books, I cannot absolutely guarantee these books are complete and accurate, however, I have endeavored to create the most comprehensive
accounting of Vipers available. The use of this data is at your own risk.
